FREISE, 98, owned and operated a farm at Route 58 and Roselle Road in Schaumburg until he retired in 1952. Mr. Freise farmed for more than 50 years. He was born on the farm next to the one he operated. "It was good farm land, and he did well with it," according to his daughter Pauline Zoellick. "He missed it later. He raised corn and diary cattle on the 160-acre farm." MR. FREISE served on the war rationing board during World War II and on several school boards for the area, principally a farm community at the time. The site of his farm now is occupied by a Dominick's supermarket and a K mart. Survivors, besides his daughter Pauline, include another daughter, Laura Thurow; four sons, George, Robert, Henry and William; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
