Subject: Re:mircofilm..... here is a little hint when it comes to that second look up if you have to switch printers........ or if you own a roll or are the only one who will be using the roll and you have not yet finished reading the entire thing.... have the roll at the place where you want to 'mark' your spot.... still on the machine... take a narrow slip of paper.... (i fold a one inch by 2 inch slip long ways until it is 1/8 inch....to give some strength to it) and then i slip it between the spokes of the film roll into the filmcase..... be sure to have some of your paper protrude..... and then slowly take up the film....... the paper will be locked into place..... and when you take it to the second machine, and unwind, as you near this spot go slowly... when it drops, you will be within one or two frames of your SPOT. or if you were just not done with the roll...you will know where you should start reviewing again... this is not a permanent thing, less intrusive to the film than that film skimming over the roller and thru the glass at 10 miles per hour as we have seen some treat the film, so please no commenting about how this will damage the film... since it does not....
