Gustafson, Ellen nee Freise, 82, daughter of the late Louis H. and Marie: nee Kirchhoff, was taken to her eternal rest on June 18, 2003. Ellen was born in Palatine, Illinois lived in the Chicago area and came to Tucson, Ariz. in 1980. She was a practicing registered nurse until her retirement in 1996. Ellen was active in religious and political organizations. She is predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Everet, and her sister, Eleanor Michael ( Rev. M.J. Michael ). She is survived by her sister, Loraine ( Raymond Heidorn ) of Springfield, Mo. and a brother Herbert, (Vera ) of Seattle, WA: son Donald, ( Pat ) Gustafson; grandsons, Christopher, David and Patrick and granddaughter, Heather; great grandsons, Cody and Christian and a soon to be born great-granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 2005 S. Houghton, Tucson. Rev. Patrick Henry officiating. Donations may be made in Ellen's name to the church fund.
