A Springinsguth Road B horizontal Schaumburg Road, the center of Section 20. C The cluster of buildings in the forefront is that of the O D Jennings' Chauffeur's House in its original location. Notice that there is a large home (commonly called the Chauffeur's House) (C1) , a smaller home (C2) and a garage (C3). At the northwest corner of the property there are several small shed-like buildings.The main building (C1) in this photo was relocated to 1601 Valley View Schaumburg Illinois 60193. It is believed that the Chauffeur's House was built of brick and tile roof in 1927 and was moved in 1967. This building was a sister house to the O D Jennings Home which was further south of this location adjacent to current "THE BARN" which houses a senior center. The O D Jennings Home is NOT IN THIS AERIAL PHOTO. It has been said that C1 was originally the Chauffeur's House and later for a relative- a cousin - of Jennings'. Evan Harris of Harris Custom Homes bought the house/garage from Texaco who had purchased the property to erect a service/gas station. Har! ris moved the Chauffeur's House and garage to the Valley View Location which is directly south on Springinsguth Road south of Wise/Weise Road. Jennings was in the area until about 1950.
