John Krueger Funeral services for John Krueger, 85, of Quartz Hill, Calif., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Born Aug. 31, 1918, in Dundee, the son of Charles and Helen Koepsel Krueger, he passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, in Van Nuys, Calif. Burial will be in Lily Lake Cemetery. Mr. Krueger had been a resident of California since 1962. Surviving are his daughter, Rose Marie Rhodes; grandchildren, Carol L. Corrigan, Susan Main and Luann Eicher; sister, Helen Fredericks; brother, Frank Krueger; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marion.
