Floyd E. Reiser Funeral services for Floyd E. Reiser, 73, of Marengo, formerly of Hampshire, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 E. Jackson St., Marengo. Pastor Glen Borhart will officiate. Born Feb. 16, 1930, in Elgin, the son of Edward V. and Lorena E. (nee Seyller) Reiser, he died Thursday evening, Jan. 15, 2004, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock. Floyd married Lois Freise on Oct. 5, 1991, in Marengo, at Zion Lutheran Church. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the former proprietor of Dreymiller and Kray in Hampshire, and worked since his retirement at Wisted's Supermarket in Marengo for the last 12 years. He was also a member of the Hampshire American Legion Post. He is survived by his wife, of Marengo; his daughter, Cheryl (George) Leutke of Mondovi, Wis.; his son, Edward (Carol) Reiser of Genoa, Ill.; his grandchildren, George and Christine Leutke and Kelly and Amy Reiser; his brother, Lowell "Whitey" (Arlene) Reiser of Hampshire; his sisters, Leila "Sis" (Norman) Deihs of Ft. Atkinson, Wis., Rita (Morris) Kiefer and Carol "Jean" (Gaylord) Schendel, all of Bull Shoals, Ark. and Carolyn "Joan" (Henry) Theis of Maple Park, Ill. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, and from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services Monday, at the church. Arrangements were made by Marengo-Union Funeral Home, Marengo.
