Mary Ann Botterman of Huntley Funeral services for Mary Ann Botterman, 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11008 N. Church St., Huntley, with the Rev. Charles W. Kittel officiating. Born Nov. 25, 1934, in Schaumburg, the daughter of Alvin and Ruth (nee Papenbrock) Botterman, she passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Rockford. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Huntley for over 40 years. Her passions were knitting, listening to music, playing games and visiting with friends and relatives. Mary will be forever remembered for her hearty laugh and her generosity towards friends and family alike. Her legacy lives on through the hundreds of Christmas stockings she knitted with love, and her home was always open to those who wanted to chat, play Aggravation or lose to her at "Screwy Louie". She is survived by her brother, Ronald (Mary) Botterman of Marengo; sisters, Irene Colson of Belvidere an! d Doris (Bill) Martin of Gilberts; six nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and by her special nephew, Bill Martin. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Monday, at the church. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Huntley.
