Mary Ann Botterman Mary Ann Botterman, 69, of Huntley passed away Friday, January 9, 2004 in Rockford. She was born November 25, 1934 in Schaumburg to Alvin and Ruth (Papenbrock) Botterman. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Huntley for over 40 years. Her passions were knitting, listening to music, playing games and visiting with friends and relatives. She will be forever remembered for her hearty laugh and her generosity towards friends and family alike. Her legacy lives on through the hundreds of Christmas stockings she knitted with love. Her home was always open to those who wanted to chat, play Aggravation or lose to her at "Screwy Louie". Surviving are her brother, Ronald (Mary) Botterman of Marengo; sisters, Irene Colson of Belvidere and Doris (Bill) Martin of Gilberts; six nieces and nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ruth; and a special nephew, Bill Martin. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 11008 N. Church St., Huntley with the Rev. Charles W. Kittel officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 PM Sunday at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley and at the Church on Monday prior to Services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
