    3. Victor J. Warner Victor J. Warner, 84, of Carpentersville died Friday, January 9, 2004 at the ASTA Care Center of Elgin surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Cloud, MN on December 17, 1919, the son of John S. and Anna M. (nee Lodemeier) Warner. Vic was a 57 year resident of the Dundee area. He was former owner and operator of J.S. Warner & Sons Monument Co. in East Dundee until his retirement in 1994. He was a long time member of the St. Catherine of Siena Church of West Dundee where he was a former many years member of the choir. Vic was a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathleen R. (nee Stallman) Warner. They married on May 11, 1946. Their marriage was blessed with nine children, Kathy Hurley of Carpentersville, Lauren Christopherson of Cary, Steve Warner of Portland, Oregon, Sue (Jim) Stec of Thornton, CO, Mike (Linda) Warner of Austin, TX, John (Barb) Warner of Carpentersville, Phil (Cheri) Warner of Glen Beulah, WI, Vicki (Fraser) Dornich of West Dundee and Joan Torres of Carpentersville; 25 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Dospil of Aurora, Gertrude (John) Rotundo of Elgin and Therese (Wayne) Fitzsimmons of Carpentersville; and many, many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson, Brandon Warner; his brothers, Louis, Leo, Meinrod, Joseph, Edward, William and Claude; and his sisters, Rosemary Schumacher and Mary Warner. Family and friends will meet for Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 AM in the St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Dundee. Interment will follow in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 9 PM in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee and on Wednesday in church from 9 AM until time of Mass.
