    3. Subject: RELIGIOUS notes - HIGH EDUCATION notes BUSINESS notes HOWTOS if anyone has a religious (a nun, a priest, a minister) in their family, do make the effort to reach their offices or the office of the order that they may have joined if their size dwindled. Even those orders which did not early on ask for personal information, later did request their membership to complete some questionaires and even provide chronological details pertaining to their 'assignments' in the world. This suggestion pertains to both priests and sisterhoods. you may find that your relative achieved quite high 'professional' and 'educational' rankings. also ask for a history of their society which most will gladly provide you. for those relatives that have higher education, do approach that school as well as their library -(yearbooks) and published school papers may reside in their first graduating college. and if they taught, approach that school - yearbooks again - and for any bio that their library and office might have .. and consider the teachers union for information as well. often you will find that one religious has another sibling who is a religious. this information is sometime recorded on the papers in their 'personnel' file.. I found, thru an investigation such as above, that a child, long forgotten, did actually exist, so I went looking for her. and because of that search, found not only the child's but the grandparents' gravesite.. if your person owned a business, check with the local historical society for information about the business.... .and take the time to see if the business is still operating..... it might be, perhaps with a hypenated name..... valentine
