Mussell of Marengo The funeral service for Thomas L. Mussell, 38, formerly of Schuamburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6821 Main Street, Union, Ill. The Rev. Norm Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the church. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock. Born Dec. 7, 1966, in Urbana, to Roger and Celine (nee Krenz) Mussell, he died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005. Thomas married Karen C. Denson in Wheaton on March 15, 1997. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a masters in Applied Technology Education and was the building construction teacher at Schaumburg High School. Thomas was the Cub Scout master from pack 412 and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Ben, Grace, Ally and Samantha, all of Marengo; his parents, Roger and Celine Mussel of Schaumburg; two brothers, Todd (Cheryl! ) Mussell of California and Bob (Julie) Mussell of Brule, Wis.; nieces and nephews, Nathan, Nicole, Jacob and Joshua Mussell, and Josh, Luke and Hunter Denson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Ann Krenz; and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Katherine Mussell. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Thomas L. Mussell Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of Marengo, 677 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo, IL 60152.
