Nov 16, 2005 3:17 pm US/Central Judge Green Lights O'Hare Expansion (AP) CHICAGO A federal judge today gave Chicago the green light on its plans to expand O'Hare International Airport. Judge David Coar lifted a temporary restraining order that had barred the city from bulldozing area homes and businesses affected by construction. Work began on the $15 billion project last month. But earlier this month, Coar temporarily ordered a halt to the construction so he could review issues raised by opponents. Cemetery owners and two suburbs near O'Hare wanted to stop the city from relocating graves and from bulldozing about 500 homes and 200 businesses in the path of the airport expansion. cbs2chicago
