"Betty" Matter lifelong resident of Lake Zurich The funeral service for Elizabeth J. "Betty" Matter (nee Deinlein), 74, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods. The Rev. Ronald Moritz will officiate. Interment will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Born June 21, 1931, in Barrington, she died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at Lexington Health Care Center in Lake Zurich. Mrs. Matter was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Family was everything to her. She was the wife of Herbert H. Matter for 54 years; mother of Christine Matter of Lake Zurich, Terri (Ken) Stade of Johnsburg and Craig (April) Matter of Lake Zurich; grandmother of Laura, Rachel, Kevin and Samantha Matter; and sister of Marvin (the late Ella) Deinlein.
