Chicago Tribune (IL) - May 1, 2004 Deceased Name: LOIS C. QUINDEL, 56 Lois C. Quindel, 56, of Elgin died of a heart attack Tuesday, April 27, in Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. A native of Falmouth, Ky., she graduated from Falmouth High School and, in 1966, married her husband, Gary. The couple moved from Falmouth to Chicago in 1974. Mrs. Quindel was a lab technician at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. "She worked hard for everything she accomplished and gave off a lot of energy," said her son, Mark Brey. In addition to her son, Mrs. Quindel is survived by her husband, Gary; her mother, Marjorie McNees; a sister, Connie Peed; and two brothers, Steve and Rick McNees. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
