Private burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Friday, at the church. Born March 31, 1980, in Rockford, he passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Sean lost a two-year battle with a spinal cord injury sustained in an auto accident. He will be dearly missed. Survivors include his father, John (Jean) Busse of Elgin; mother, Barbara Busse of South Elgin; sister, Erin (Raymond) Rijkse and their children, Tyler and Ashley of North Pole, Alaska; maternal grandparents, George and Mary Loechner of Elgin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
