Christie, The 1870 census that you were talking about in Palatine was Fred and Dora Goebbert Thies. They were buried in Salem Cemetery. The Henry and Sophia Thies that were living with them, Henry was my ggg grandma's brother. His wife was Sophia Hachmeister Thies My ggg grandma was Wilhelmina Thies Biermann. Jill
