"Butch" Meyer lifelong resident of Lake Zurich Funeral services for Paul C. "Butch" Meyer, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods. Interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, and from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service Wednesday, at the church. Mr. Meyer died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Cuba Township, Ill. Paul was a lifelong member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods. He was a dairy farmer until 1969, then was employed as a machinist until his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marjorie M. Meyer (nee Buesching). He was the cherished father of Melvin (Barbara) Meyer, Arlene Meyer, Bonnie (Scott) McLeod, Linda (Ron) Kohl and Susan (Fred) Dodge; dear grandfather of Paul, Sarah and Bill Meyer, and Andrea a! nd Timmy Dodge; and the beloved brother of Birdean Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lillian Meyer (nee Lintleman); and his brother, George Meyer.
