Thank you Valentine, there are two gravestones. The first one is: >Schnadt, Hier Ruhet in Frieden Seine Gattin Engel Marie > 12/03/1835 - 06/21/1901 >Schnadt, Henry 01/29/1825 - 10/20/1904 The second one is small, two or three rows behind in direction to the airport, and there is only written "Schnadt". May be a child. >I know this is not good news... but what can be done? >if there is no new snow and if it is not bitteer cold, I will scout the 8th or ninth >row to see if these two entries are on THAT stone... and will take an >image.. ..on monday.......lots of ifs Thank you, I took images, when I was there in summer. Unfortunately very few time and bad prepared. Perhaps St. John has information about that burial? >so send what you have in addition TO THE LIST Thanks a lot Joerg
to look thru the many pages of st john would take a month... the records are very hard to read... have you looked at the death version listing that karen has... she has deaths? I think? but, the listing is not a direct read from the books... the original source of karens listing which were restatements, is not known. I did find the originals in my travels but there was no indicator as to the original author or what was used in its compilation... but YOU WERE IN SCHAUMBURG? and you did not let the list know!!!!! aw, for sure, when one travels far, they should let the list know... one never knows when arrangements can be made to make the search EASIER... perhaps NEXT TIME! this for ANYONE in the schaumburg List family! ----- Original Message ----- From: Joerg.Schnadt@t-online.de<mailto:Joerg.Schnadt@t-online.de> To: IL-COOK-SCHAUMBURG-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:IL-COOK-SCHAUMBURG-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 06, 2006 11:45 AM Subject: Re: [ILckSCH] schnadt Thank you Valentine, there are two gravestones. Dear Valentine, Larry and List, yes, Henry Schnadt with his wife Engel Marie are buried on St. Johns cemetery. My question referred to a gravestone in row # 9, which only bears the name "Schnadt". In the meantime I have noticed by sorting the monument-list of Elaine Lorinczi that the neighboring graves are from of 1881 (EXCEL-file available). Therefore I suspect that the grave "Schnadt" is also from that time. Karen Rowe recorded the church books of St.John. After this a son of Henry Schnadt, Carl Heinrich Konrad, aka: Charles, died on Sep 17,1881. I believe that he was buried there. In case I will ever come again to Schaumburg,IL, I'll give you a note. Thank you for your help. Best wishes, Joerg Schnadt -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: .... valentine53179 [mailto:valentine53179@hotmail.com] Gesendet: Freitag, 6.
