courier news 040906 PAUL E. HEIDEMAN Paul E. Heideman of Algonquin, 87, WWII Veteran, passed away April 7, 2006, at home. Beloved husband of Jewell; loving father of Edward (Jean), Gregory (Margaret), Robert (fiancee Catherine), Lee Ann (Charles) Martins and Torri (Rick) Stewart; grandfather of Kate and Rickey Stewart, Jon, Charles, Daniel, Paul and Robert Heideman and great-grandfather of Tyler Heideman. Preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Biesterfeld, Bernice Deuchler, Irene Curry and brother, Carl Heideman. Paul worked for Toastmaster in Algonquin for 43 years and after retirement volunteered at the Fish Food Pantry in Carpentersville for 22 years. He served as past commander of the Dundee VFW; he served as Alderman of Algonquin; and had been a member of the Village Board and Planning Commission. Services private.
