Subject: schmidt elk grove This is an old photo taken at a Sunday School picnic around 1915. It is of the Schmidt family. I have another similar one taken at a grove in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, so perhaps this one was also. The matting has some spots, and there ome sort of a yellow line mark on the upper right corner of the picure. http://cgi.ebay.com/OLD-1915-PICNIC-PHOTO-ELK-GROVE-VILLAGE-ILLINOIS_W0QQite mZ6269485830QQcategoryZ14279QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and http://cgi.ebay.com/ELK-GROVE-VILLAGE-PICNIC-OLD-PHOTO_W0QQitemZ6269486543QQ categoryZ14279QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This is an old photo taken at a July 4th church picnic at what looks like Schaumghause Grove in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. (Written on the back). The matting has some spots, but the picture is fine. I have another one which looks like it was taken at the same time and place. It is dated 1915 and is of a Schmidt family. and http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6269490161&ssPageName=ADM E:B:SS:US:1 This is a lovely old photo of two brothers taken, I would guess in the first couple of decades of the last century. On the back is written: ' Ira Edgar Albrecht - Age 2 yrs. 9 ms. Paul Theo Albrecht, Age 9 mo.' The studio was in Chicago. It was with a collection of old photos, some of which were taken in the Bensenville, Itasca and Elk Grove Village area of Illinois. There is what looks like a substance of some type on the upper right hand corner, but it is barely noticeable. I'm not sure what made that mark on the bottom right. The name of the studio is embossed there, but there is not stain or spot.
