personally, i have been thinking about the answer to this for years.... people are driven there is usually no financial value in it and in fact COSTS the researcher... the time expended would cause an EYE ROLL if our bosses asked us to do just a fraction of the work with even more HINTS on where to search.... i will say, that there is a high in speaking with a famly member from a group that hasnt been communicated with for many generations... perhaps a 100 years... people cry when they return to the homeland or visit where their family member relocated... and what i think wells up in them is the sense that neither are orphans any longer....
