He was born July 9, 1934 in Elgin, the son of Raymond H. and Evelyn (Jurs) Stark. He worked for Simpson Electric in Elgin for 27 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir for 55 years. He is survived by his mother of Elgin; and two brothers, Melvin (Sylvia) of West Dundee and James (Virginia) of Manistique, MI; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Sunday, April 2, 2006 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Rev. Denise Tracy will officiate. Burial will be private in Lakewood Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the church or the charity of choice. Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
