State St., Elgin. The Rev. Olin Sletto will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday, at the funeral home. Born Jan. 31, 1922, in Hanover Township, Ill., the daughter of William and Dorothea Yurs Hopp, she passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at the Rosewood Care Center, Elgin. Birdelle was a resident of Elgin for most of her life and a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Elgin. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Gerald) Brown of Carpentersville; grandchildren, Michelle (Roy) Rankin of Huntley, Kristin Brown of Des Plaines, Jason (Lisa) Brown of Huntley and Kevin Brown of Carpentersville; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Anna Brown and Shonna and Kylie Rankin; sisters, Dolores Fisher of Elgin and Bonnie (Richard) Perkins of Pri! nceton, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Rouse on July 27, 1994; brothers, Loraine "Butch" Hopp and one in infancy; and sister, Mary Guertler.
