Baresel of West Dundee Memorial services for Ethel E. Baresel, 79, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the First Congregational Church of West Dundee, with Pastor Pamela French Pendexter officiating. Burial will be in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee. Born June 16, 1926, in Barrington, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Gilly, she died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at her home. She was a member of First Congregational Church of West Dundee, Woman's Fellowship of First Congregational Church and the Dundee Township Lioness Club. Ethel is survived by her children, Steven (Patty) of Dundee, Troy (Joe) of Chicago, Gerald (Sharon) of Dundee, Lorna (Steven) Trebes of Dundee and Beth (Steven) Zadnichek of Black River Falls, Wis.; grandchildren, Jared, Brett, Christopher, Kimberly, Gregory, Lauren and Kristen; brothers, Charles (Marge) Gilly and Earl (Rosemary) Gilly, both of Barrington and Daniel (Darlene) Gilly of Elgin; and sisters, Velma (James) Willis and Mary Ann ! (Larry) Roesslein, both of Prescott, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents; a brother, Robert Gilly and her sister, Alice Walker. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of West Dundee, Les Turner ALS Foundation or Provena Hospice.
