Stoike of Arlington Heights Funeral services for Ethel B. Stoike will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Randhill Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, the funeral home. Born July 6, 1908, in Palatine, to William and Bertha (nee Sturm) Luerssen, she passed away, Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Arlington Rehabilitation in Long Grove. Ethel enjoyed spending time playing cards with her friends. Ethel is survived by her son, Wendell (Rosalie) Stoike; granddaughters, Lynn (Todd) Rundle and Ellen (Jeffrey) Forrest; two great-grandchildren, Bryan and Megan Forrest; sister, Marjorie Heybeck; as well as many nieces and nephews.
