Landmeier of McHenry Services for Roger F. Landmeier, 76, will be held at noon Friday, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 404 N. Green St., McHenry. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, and from 11 a.m. until the time of services Friday, at the church. Born June 29, 1929, in Des Plaines, to Barney L. and Caroline (nee Garlish) Landmeier, he died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at his home. On Sept. 17, 1949, in Bensenville, Roger married Jacquelyn E. Lingren. Mr. Landmeier was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jacquelyn; children, Guy (Pat) Landmeier of Marengo, Deborah (Al) Desautels of McHenry, Rick Landmeier of Montgomery and Missy (Dannie) Schramm of Lake Geneva; grandchildren, Guy Jr., Tammy, Wesley, Riley, Danielle and Vaughn; an! d great-grandchildren, Lexie and Logan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey and Clarence Landmeier; and a sister, Evelyn Hildebrandt. Memorials may be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
