Subject: MY very own RECOLLECTIONS - 46/100 1. What is the hobby in which you claim a high level of proficiency, could you speak on the subject at length, do you make a better 'coach' or a better 'player', how did you learn about this hobby? 2. Name some television shows that you consider worthwhile, check google to see if there are any images that you would be able to use in your story, or website information that you could use to help the reader, did you look forward to the evening that these shows were on, or did you video tape them to watch later, how do these shows compare to the early shows like Maverick or Gunsmoke, or My Three Sons, etc. 3. WHEN did you first get a VCR, do you know how to program the VCR or to fix the time, will you have to change it tonight because of the DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE, do you know what VCR means? or VHS? 4. What are your thoughts about Daylight Savings Time, do you think it of value today, do you think it should be dissolved, who is the "time" custodian in your home, in your childhood home, have you any stories to tell because of the time change, do you also change batteries in your smoke detectors when the 'time' changes, were you quick to jump on the smoke detector installation in your home, how about radon detectors or carbon monoxide detectors? Remember...... Write as you speak.... Be yourself.... Write liberally...... Do not worry about technique.... It is the THOUGHT that counts - or thoughts! Write as if it might be the LAST time you can address the question... 0 0 0 0

Subject: MY very own RECOLLECTIONS - 44/100 1. Tell about Halloween Night - as a child, as a parent, as a grandparent - changes between the generations, what concerns were there about safety, did you ever skip any houses, or apartment buildings, did you have a plan for knocking on doors, did you go in groups or alone, when was the last time you went trick or treating, did you ever do any tricks, what were they, how far from home did you travel to trick or treat, did you ever go to any planned festivities, like at a house party or at a park as a child, as an adult, if you did not trick or treat, what was it like in your home on this day. 2. Tell about the division of the BEST candies you collected on Halloween, did you have to share your stash, did you protect it from thievery, Just how much candy did you gather on that night, would it overflow a normal shoebox, or two, . 3. Which of your elders had missing appendages, and do you know the stories about these accidents, eyesight/deafness? were there any other physical 'differences' (hereditary or not) that you can recall and notate, do tell when in life these occurred, for as part of a medical genealogy, the time at which sicknesses/illnesses/diseases first appeared in their lives in important, who used a cane, eyeglasses, hearing aides, walkers, chairs? Write freely about this for it is a subject that seldom is spoken and feelings and thoughts that people have are often unknown. Do you think this should be the way, or do you think that medical issues within a family should be openly spoken about? Remember...... Write as you speak.... Be yourself.... Write liberally...... Do not worry about technique.... It is the THOUGHT that counts - or thoughts! Write as if it might be the LAST time you can address the question... 0 0 0
Subject: MY very own RECOLLECTIONS - 43/100 1. Tell about a costume you had for Halloween, where did you get it, who made it, did you like it, did you win any prizes with it, have you any photos with it, did your children in turn wear it, did you duplicate it for your children? 2. Tell a story or two or three about LEAVES, as in Fall leaves, collecting them for school projects, for crafts, raking them, burning them, traveling to see them, playing in them with children, as a child, tell of your knowledge of leaves, go out right now and collect a few pretty ones and press them and write about your excursion to collect the leaves, press them and wax them (We ironed wax paper to each side of the leaf, protecting the iron from the wax paper with newspaper.) 3. Using the list that you created, which elders could play instruments, do you recall any of the tunes they played, do you know the words, (try google.com with "AfewKNOWNwords" +song or "songNAME" +words) did you learn to play this instrument, even a little bit, even as a mimic of the elder, do you know if the instrument is still in the family, have you a photo of it for your collective, (or google.com images? with the instrument name), when was it that the elder played the instrument, was it always in the evening, only special occasions, only when asked, did everyone enjoy the music, or was it a 'chore' to listen what was the vision like of that person playing and others listening, where did the person generally play - in their favorite chair, on the stoop, in the yard? Remember...... Write as you speak.... Be yourself.... Write liberally...... Do not worry about technique.... It is the THOUGHT that counts - or thoughts! Write as if it might be the LAST time you can address the question... 0 0 0

For example, DVD, CD, ZIPdisk, VHS, Digital, CRT vs the newer screens, the HDTV, cell phones, cruise control in your car, keyless locks, electronic ignition, remote control, tiVO, email, microwave, ice machines, voice mail, cable tv, , etc. 3.
