    3. The description on this website is very good. You can find it on the 1880 ward map at alookatcook.com or you can find Dekoven st on mapquest. Then go to alookatcook.com By the address, it sounds like it may be near the start of the fire in 1871. The fire academy used to be on that spot when I lived in Chicago. Might be still there.
