PALM SPRINGS. July 4--Palm Springs restaurateur E. A. LANDFIELD, 58[1902], had hardly summoned police to help a heart attack victim early today when he suffered a fatal heart attack himself. He had been a desert resort resident since 1946. Police said that just two hours before they rushed LANDFIELD to the hospital, he had called them to his hotel restaurant to aid a guest who had suffered a heart attack. The guest was reported recovering at the hospital today. >From the SSAN index I found a possible entry for son Harold: HAROLD LANDFIELD 09 Aug 1896 Aug 1970 33140 (Miami, Miami-dade, FL) (none specified) 261-14-5309 Florida Having said all this, my interest in the family involves the second marriage of Abraham about 1928 in Los Angeles to Elizabeth "Lee" (NIEMAN) ROSE LANDFIELD: Los Angeles TIMES, 20 September 1928, Page 8, VITAL RECORD, INTENTION TO MARRY. LANDFIELD-NIEMAN. Abe E. LANDFIELD, 55[1873]; Lee NIEMAN, 39(?)[1889]. "Lee" descends from the NUDELMAN family of St. Louis, MO. Hopefully a good obit will confirm I have the right family.
