Readers, My great-grandmother was born on the Atlantic Ocean as her parents immigrated to the United States from Sweden. She was listed as being born in London, England on the passenger list since that is where the ship disembarked from. We have always been told that when you are born at sea the place of birth is listed as the location the ship left last. The ending passenger list should match the beginning passenger list.
