I too remember Frango mints, Fannie Mae and also the fresh cashews. Gee, haven't thought about those in a long time. A few years ago someone on a food/recipe listserv I was on posted a recipe for Frango Mints! It is surprisingly easy and they taste wonderful. ****** Frango Mints 2 cups chocolate chips 1/2 cup butter 1 1/8 cup powdered sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 caps-full of mint extract Melt and cool chocolate chips. Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add cooled chocolate, vanilla and mint. Blend until creamy and drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cool in refrigerator until hard. Makes 80-90 pieces. ****** I haven't made this reciep for a couple of years, but I remember it being very easy and very yummy! Just like the real thing. Enjoy!
