I would call all the Jewish cemeteries in the area starting with Waldheim asking for them to check their computer for deaths after 1945 just to be safe. They are very nice and most have the information on computer. Waldheim will even fax you a map of the location. That way you will know exactly when he died and can order his death certificate.
