    3. In the 1860 Negaunee, Marquette Co., MI census, my gr gr grandparents, James & Catherine DONOVAN are listed with their children Catherine (my gr grandmother), John, Annie, and Mary along with a servant Margaret COONEY. James and the children are shown as b. Canada. My family records show James and Annie being b. Elmer, Canada. Catherine and Margaret are shown as b. Ireland By June of 1865, when another child is born, James is in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., MO with the children and his wife Margaret (not Catherine). Before finding the 1860 census record, all I knew was my gr gr grandmother was Margaret nee Cooney b. Co. Cork, Ireland. I didn't know James had been previously married. I'm trying to find the place and date of death for Catherine Donovan (maiden name unknown) along with the place and date of marriage for James Donovan and Margaret Cooney. I was not able to find this information at St. Paul church in Negaunee, Negaunee Cemetery, St. James Cathedral in St. Joseph nor at Calvary/Mt. Olivet Cemetery in St. Joseph. I assume the death and marriage took place while in transit from MI to MO. Can someone give me some suggestions on how or where to search? Thanks so much for any help. Judie Mason Chicago
