    1. Re: [IL-CHICAGO] WWII
    2. Hi Val, I have a cousin on the WWII List. His parents were living in Chicago at the time of his death, but he is listed on the Christian County list [KIA]. I know that they were in Montgomery County in 1930, and in Chicago in 1948. Robert K. Hillman was killed in action March 5, 1945, Luzon, Philippines. His body was not recovered and returned to the States until 1948. Robert was the only child of my Great Uncle, Walter Hillman. 3. excellent... in that you looked and posted info... but also that there was a delay in the return of the body to the States.... I have seen this before... and from this place LUZON... I am not sure the delay is specific to this place or over the battlegrounds of the world... but it is something that researchers can scout.... ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 15, 2006 12:38 PM Subject: Re: [IL-CHICAGO] WWII Hi Val, I have a cousin on the WWII List.
