Hi, I need an obit to determine if there are any sons for a possible DNA test on this family. We have a shortage of sons in my Cook Co. Rose family -- my Gr Grandfather had 5 sons, 1 had no children, one had 1 daughter, one had 2 daughters, one had one son, and my Grandfather had 1 son [who had no legal children], and 2 daughters. Gr Grandfather's Uncle had two sons, one had two daughters and one had one son and one daughter. The obit I am looking for is for the Uncle's family -- Harold "Hal" W. Rose, b. 15 Aug 1905 IL, d. 15 Nov 1989 IL ? I also am looking for the obit for: Velva M. Budzuis, b. 5 July 1919 MN, d. 8 May 2002 Mt. Vernon, WA. Velva was m. for a short time to my Grandfather's son, and "may" have had the only male child in the family [I am told he was born Rose, but his mother changed his name]. I am not sure if I will ever be able to tie the two families together, except by DNA. Sigh ! And then the shortage of males .......... Thanks for any help anyone can offer, Sharon Buethner
