Livengood. The last name has many variations of spelling but the two I have seen for this particular branch of the family are Livingood and Livengood. Others might be Levengood or Livinggood and so on. Frank Livingood (middle initial might be E. or W.) was born Mar. 30, 1882 in Chicago. He was last seen in the 1910 census living with his brother Arthur and parents Ida and Frank E. Livingood in Chicago. The 1920 census shows Arthur still living with Mom and Dad but not Frank. I'm told there is a WWI draft card for Arthur but I have no idea about Frank. There is a reference to a living cousin Artie Livingood in a letter from my grandfather in the last 1930's but no reference to Frank. I know that Frank E. Livingood the father died in Chicago, June 6, 1936 and the Mother, Ida (White) Livingood died in Chicago, Mar 29, 1931. Can anyone offer me some assistance in finding out of there is a record of the younger Frank Livingood's death sometime between 1910 and 1938? Or of Arthur S. Livingood sometime after 1938? Anyone help you folks might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Hi List, I have my Begley family and feel a strong need to search more information on a BIGLEY that I found on the 1870 Census. My question is this. On the 1870 census, John Bigley and wife Eliza are listed in the 9th ward. Did the 9th ward change compared to the 1875 Chicago ward map? How would I find out what street (address) they had? If this is our family, it is said that he died when the lake freighter he was captain of, sunk in the Great Lakes (no records). And wife Eliza died either with him or later of TB, both before the 1880 census when I find the children in orphanages. Any ideas on how to search more on this particular census info is much appreciated. Thanks all.... Juli Begley San Antonio, TX.

Many years ago, someone advised me LDS had a microfilm available which showed the name of the Catholic churches in Germany which the residents of small towns and villages without a local church would have attended and, therefore, would have the records. My computer crashed the first of the year and I have lost the name of this film. If anyone has knowledge of such a film, would greatly appreciate the name and/or number. Also, if someone has knowledge and their local Family History Center has the film, would be interested in the Catholic church which residents of UNTERMUHLEGG, Germany - (small village in southern Bavaria) would have attended. Thanks for any assistance and/or advise. Bob [email protected]
