    3. 120th and Kedzie is an OK neighborhood; not great, but OK. The cemetery I warned against was on Halsted. That is DEFINITELY bad news. 2. Can you help me-because in gfathers obit it states that he had two brothers and a sister-Ida Weintraub Hertzberg-She is married to Joseph.Being that all in the family resettled in Chicago, I thought that she did also.I send for her dc which had different parents on it-Her parents are Philip and Mollie Weintraub-but when I tried to tell this I was send by other genners the same material.I after awhile thought that maybe-but the material that I got was the same over and over-The idea of the parents tho ate away at me.herefore I am starting all over-I wrote to either the daughter or her gdaughter-she said that we were not related- Here is what I do know , my gfather was born in Lutsk-I gather the boys were born there also and also Ida.Gfather was born 1871.I believe that he was the oldest. Joseph and she lived in Latvia with their family. I have not gotten any where in the three years that I worked on it so therefore I NEED LOOK UPS.

    3. Dear Cook's List, I was probably told about this site before but do not remember it. www.alookatcook.com My guess is that I use only Heritage Quest which locates my relatives without much need of this knowledge. Regardless, thanks for showing me the key. Also, I need to thank Darlene Dowhaniuk for locating true ancestors all the way back to 1838 - 168 years. Thank you Darlene for breaking down the very high wall. You used expensive tools and variations in spelling which we never thought of. 3. St Mary's in Evergreen Park. I just want someone to check with the computer in the office. Pat, I go to the cemeteries that are close to me all the time for look ups - IF anyone needs help at All Saints in DesPLaines, Ridgewood, or Maryhill in Niles let me know. 3. Hi Is anyone going to St. Mary's Cemetery or live close enough to do a look up for me? The name is Concetta Lupia. Should be buried with her husband Angelo Lupia. Her maiden name was Volpendesta. I have searched high and low for an obit or death cert and can find nothing. Arleen -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. 3. Did you try contacting the cemetery yourself with the interment request available for Chicago Catholic Cemeteries on their web site? This is how I have been able to obtain some information on some of my father's relations. The Chicago Catholic Cemeteries web site is: www.cathcemchgo.org Click on the information link on the left side of the page and that will give you a list of options. Click interments and that will get you to a screen where you can download the form in Adobe Acrobat as a .pdf file. The home screen under the information link will also have an option for locations of the cemeteries and their offices. BTW, there are five St. Mary's Catholic Cemeteries in the Chicago area: Evergreen Park, Fremont Center, Highland Park, Lake Forest, and Waukegan. Which one are you looking for? 1. ADDRESS - 41 Cornell
    2. Mary Sugarman
    3. Have found Axel Olsen / Olson, possible relative, at this address in Chicago City Directory for 1884 and 1885. Would anyone know where this address might be today. It was listed as a house. The 1909 address changes does not show anything as low as #40 Cornell. Also the Cornell in the directory for 1884 and 1885 does not say whether it was a street, avenue, etc. Thanks, Mary
