Greetings. I am researching my ancestor, Daniel Nelson Freeman, who enlisted in F Co., of the Illinois 130th Volunteer Infantry soon after the outbreak of the Civil War. He was captured at the Battle of Sabine Cross Roads and served as a POW at Camp Ford in Tyler TX. Through the Illinois State Archives, I have found a copy of the original muster roll for his company plus I have his pension papers from the National Archives. I was wondering, though, if anyone was aware of published accounts of the 130th? Diaries, narratives, whatever? Thank you Jill
