    2. Kristie, There is a book set called THE ROLL OF HONOR which should be available in a large public or academic library near you. It lists Union soldiers buried in national cemeteries during or shortly after the Civil War (it was put together by the Army's Quartermaster's Corps). The National Archives has a microfilm set called CARD INDEX TO HEADSTONES FURNISHED TO UNION VETERANS, 1879-1903. It lists headstones furnished to former Union soldiers during the time period specified. Tom Pearson
