David Herron kindly sent me an IL CW Veterans Database, but no Hugh Curran appears. Since then, I have found out that my Hugh Curran married in 1856 in Kankakee, IL. On this database, I see that the 76 IL INF was from Kankakee. Is there anywhere I can access info for the 76th? And are there any rosters available for the 76th? My Hugh Curran was killed in action, so he would not appear in any post-CW organization or database of veterans. Thanks, Dan Hogan
