I was able to find Col Benjamin Grierson's after action report of the skirmish at Olive Branch, MS, where my GGGF Armstead Hunt, Co D, 6th Ill Vol Cav was wounded. I went to one of the Official Records of the War of the Rebellion searchable sites. I put in the date in words and Olive Branch and several reports around September Sixth and Seventh came up including Van Dorn's and Grierson's. I can't locate the site at the moment, but there are several. Certainly no enlisted names are mentioned, but I am sure he was included as one of the six enlisted wounded. John O'Neal, Embreeville, PA
