There has been alot of people looking for civil war photos of family members and of the regiments that they where in. I know alot of people on the list are doing Genealogy and there not collectors so I thought I might give you another idea to try and find them. I have been a Collector and amature historian of the 48th Illinois for about 3 years and have found many pictures and documents. Some of my best items have come from dealers, so you should start looking through the items that they have on the internet. If anyone would like any Urls address' I would be happy to list a few. Just to give you a idea of what you can find..I bought a picture of my 3rd great grandfather in uniform from a dealer over the internet.
