Dave, You are the first person, I have noted, who is researching 8th regiment. I have g-g uncle Joseph Rothermel in that one. Two gg Rothermels in 9th and one gg Rothermel in 57th. If you know of any specific books/photos on those regiments I would appreciate your response.
