I have a Hugh Curran born Chicago 1851. According to family lore, his father/brother/uncle was a Civil War vet and has a statue of him in uniform in a Chicago cemetary. Could someone please verify/dispell this for me? Hugh was a US Marshall and a leader in the 10th ward in Chicago. Died 1901. Dan Hogan
