Dan, I've been researching a Dennis Curran, born Ireland, age 36 at enlistment in July of 62, into Co. F, 100th IL, from Palos, Cook Co. I've also found a Dennis Curran involved in politics in the 10th Ward in the postwar years but so far have not been able to make a connection between the two. If anything sounds possible let me know and I'll look back at my research.
