Hello This is my Metcalf family that I am researching... George Metcalf & Tabiatha Ayres, Metcalf married and had a son Jacob Metcalf born 6-20-1826 in Wayne Co., Ohio I don't know if they had other children and I don't know when George was born or his parents..Tabiatha's parents were given to me as John Ayres and Patsy Reavis.. I don't know Tabiatha's birth or dead..she did have a brother William Ayres and I've been told he came to IL maybe around the time Jacob did...not sure... Jacob at about age 12 moved to Indiana and later married Mary Watson in 1851. Jacob & Mary had John born about 1852, Pheobe born about 1856, Manerva born about 1858, James born about a1861, George born about 1863, Hannah or Anna born about 1868...all the children were born in Indiana and then Jacob, Mary and their children moved to IL...later Mary died about 1876 and Jacob marries Sarah Jackson and she died about 1891, Jacob marries a third time to Rachel Maggie Hall,Casey on 5-13-1896 in Vandalia, IL. Jacob died in 1910 in Vandalia, IL.. Any help on these families would be great.. Thank you.. Blondee
