Good morning fellow listers! I have a relative that is giving me fits! He is very illusive. William DUPUY is his name and first sighting of him is his marriage to Milly JONES ELAM in McDonough Co IL 22 Aug. 1858. According to the 1870 McDonough Co,IL census he was born in KY abt 1806. He and Milly had several children one of which is my great g-pa Francis W. (Frank) DUPUY who was born in Brown Co.,IL in 1865. William was someplace during the years before his marriage. Since he was in his 50's when he married Milly I suspect he was married before. If anyone has additional info on this illusive character I would sure appreciate hearing from them.
