Sharon, Now your on to something. The place to look is the index to the probate records for Cook County. I suspect they will be in the Probate Court. Check the Cook County web page of the USGENWEB project or sign on to the Cook County mailing list of RootsWeb. Either one may have the index on line or someone may be willing to do a lookup for you.
