Yunker Dies in East St. Louis Sunday Morning The death of Frederick Albert Yunker, occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. Oscar Shepherd, in East St. Louis Sunday morning. His age was 66 years, 3 months and 19 days. Deceased was born in Breese November 24, 1875. He was the son of Martin J and Caroline Yunker. His father many years ago conducted a lumber yard in the western part of Carlyle, south of the Evangelical church. The site where the lumber yard was is now the property of Mr. and Mrs. Max Randolph. In 1906 he married to Miss Lena Mueller, to which union one child was born, who survives her father. She is Mrs. Gladys Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio. His wife preceded him in death in 1910. He leaves a brother Gus, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and two sisters, Cora, Mrs. Oscar L. Shepherd of East St. Louis; and Lillian, Mrs. John Beckemeyer of Beckemeyer. Most of his life time was spent in Carlyle and Peoria. During the last three weeks he had been living at the home of his sister, Mrs. Oscar Shepherd, in East St. Louis, where he quietly passed away at three a. m. Sunday morning. Funeral services were conducted at the Frerker Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, by Rev. W. C. Bresmer. Interment was made in the Carlyle cemetery. Pallbearers were F.P. Haderiein, Nic Wilton, Otto Wells, Ed Mahlandt, H. C. Norcross and John Ruf. Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereave.
