Hi folks: I am looking for WEST's in the area 1860-80. Marion County: Pleasant WEST b TN, m Sarah LAYSON/LASON 1859. Martha J. WEST b TN, m Harrison COLCLASURE 1873. Fayette County: James A. WEST b TN, m 1)Crissa? McKINNEY m 2) Emily/Emma NEELY James & Emily on 1870 Fayette Census. Mary Elizabeth WEST b TN, m Wm. J. BESS 1871. ------- 3 of the above families were in Howell Co. MO by 1880. I think there may be more of this WEST family from TN in the surrounding area after 1860. Two large WEST families left TN abt 1860 and the above are the only ones I have found.
